WE ARE MEETING IN PERSON THIS YEAR AND HOPE YOU WILL BE ABLE TO JOIN US!
If you are not able to participate in person, we are offering a virtual option.
Regulatory issues remain the focus of this annual conference, jointly supported by the Oregon Hospice and Palliative Care Association and the Washington State Hospice & Palliative Care Organization. The past several years brought a record number of regulatory changes in hospice, but nothing in the past could compare to the challenges hospice and palliative care programs have faced during the COVID-19 pandemic. We continue to face the challenges of payment reform, ever-increasing scrutiny by the Office of the Inspector General, the “MACs” and other CMS “subcontractors”, continued changes and expansion in quality reporting requirements, as well as all the “usual” challenges in providing care for dying Oregonians and Washingtonians and their families. AND, back by popular demand, “Fit in 30!” sessions designed to stimulate the frontal lobes and maximize retention. What better place to learn and sort all this out than at the 2023 “Spring Intensive: Regulatory Update”!
Critical to the success of each state organization’s educational programming is the role of Exhibitors and Sponsors. Exhibiting and sponsoring is a terrific way to educate and promote your products and services and support outstanding educational outreach to Oregon & Washington hospice and palliative care providers. Vendors enjoy high visibility throughout the conference during meals and breaks. The exhibition area is in the core meeting area where attendees gather. Exhibitors and sponsors are invited and encouraged to attend all conference sessions, too. NEW IN 2023: Can’t make it in person this year but you’d like to participate? Send us a small box of your company swag and we’ll set it up on a table for you! Sign up for the “Attending in Spirit” Exhibitor category in the registration area below. Please, no floor or tabletop exhibits that require assembly.
The jointly-supported Spring Intensive: Regulatory Update attracts hospice and palliative care administrators and managers, those with regulatory and quality improvement responsibilities, physicians and billing specialists. Attendance varies between 70-125 participants.
