At Solace Cremation, we believe there is a better way: one that is simple, honest, transparent, and puts the needs of families first. Unlike most traditional funeral homes, Solace does not have a “starter price.” Our final price is always $895; we do not charge for delivery of remains, device removal, or weight over 300lbs. There are no trips to a funeral home; our simple system lets families make arrangements online with our mobile-friendly process or by phone, speaking with one of our compassionate Care Team members. Solace is available 24/7 to answer questions and help families. What started as being more convenient is now the safer way to make arrangements; families can complete paperwork and secure electronic signatures from their homes’ comfort.

We are a federally-registered 501c(3) non-profit organization with a mission to reimagine the way communities talk about, plan for and experience the end of life.

Working in collaboration with hospice and palliative care organizations, we offer enhanced volunteer training, support for patients choosing VSED, as well as continuity of care from pre-hospice through bereavement.

We also offer community and clinician education, end-of-life planning and compassionate bedside presence with end-of-life doulas.

Our end-of-life doula training program offers community members as well as hospice providers the opportunity to grow this complementary layer of person-centered care.

Tulip is the leading online cremation provider in the U.S. We offer a simple, transparent, and affordable alternative to traditional funeral homes. We specialize in simple direct cremation and allow families to make arrangements online or over the phone. We don’t try to sell expensive caskets, embalming or memorial services, and we don’t need ornate buildings to provide a high-quality service. Because of this, we can pass these savings directly on to the families we serve.

We have the exact same professional licenses as traditional funeral homes and we’re regularly inspected by state funeral authorities. Our online process offers flexibility so that we can work on a family’s schedule and within their budget. Our funeral directors and family care specialists are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to answer questions and assist families through a difficult time.
