webinar November 17, 2020, 3-4p PST

about the program

This interactive webinar will explore using data to determine how well hospice needs are being met in a variety of service areas, and how to interpret and act upon information about  different referral sources. Participants will learn about analyzing variation in access to care, length of stay and other key variables. Time will be reserved for participants to ask about end-of-life service patterns among their own care partners, including hospitals, physicians/billing groups and skilled nursing facilities.

session objectives

  • By participating in this workshop, participants will learn about important metrics that indicate how well a community is being served by local hospices, and to contextualize results against regional and national benchmarks.
  • On completion of this session, participants will be equipped to develop a plan to increase access to hospice care for their service area.
