Peer-facilitated healthcare debriefings offer intentional time for providers to talk about the impacts of the work. This evidence-based strategy normalizes, validates, and supports providers throughout their work and career. This workshop will review the strong evidence that supports debriefing programs and highlight the impact they can have on staff attrition. We will discuss the natural, expectable consequences of working in healthcare and how ongoing debriefings support all staff at any level, any time during their career. We will then move on to discuss how to design, implement, and evaluate a debriefing program.
